Alfred Njiraini Wariu
Alfred is a very bright boy, gifted artist and a good debater and musician. His father is dead and his mother is a peasant farmer and causal worker. The little she gets is not enough to feed and educate XYZ and his three siblings.
His elder sister, who is in Form four, has a recurrent disease (epilepsy) which needs medication and has added to the financial and practical challenges facing the family. His other relatives are also in great need and lack the money to educate Alfred.
Despite harsh condition in the family, Alfred studied hard and obtained 399 marks out of possible 500 in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. However, he had no hope of ever joining secondary School because no one could pay School fees for him.
On the recommendation of his local Chief and Vicar; we have offered Alfred a Form One place at Starehe Boys’ Centre and we are now seeking for sponsorship support for his education.
