Alfred Njiraini Wariu
Alfred is a very bright boy, gifted artist and an excellent debater and musician. His father died some years ago and his mother is a farmer and causal worker. She does not earn enough to feed and educate Alfred and his three siblings.
His elder sister, who is in Form four, has a recurrent disease (epilepsy) which needs medication and has added to the financial and practical challenges facing the family. His other relatives are also in great need and lack the money to pay for Alfred's education.
Despite these challenges, Alfred studied hard and obtained 399 marks out of possible 500 in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. No one in the family was able to pay for his school fees, so his local Chief and Vicar stepped in. We have offered Alfred a Form One place at Starehe Boys’ Centre and we are now seeking for sponsorship support for his education.
