More Starehe students to access Computer Studies

The Safaricom Foundation has provided considerable support to both the girls’ and boys’ schools in the past. Following a visit to Starehe Boys’ Centre in September 2021 by former student Peter Ndegwa and CEO of the national Kenyan technology company Safaricom, an exciting new partnership was agreed. The Safaricom Foundation and Emirates Foundation will work with the Starehe Boys’ Centre to substantially expand its IT resources, which will allow more students to receive the cutting-edge technology training essential for widening career opportunities.  This is fantastic news and we are grateful to Safaricom and Emirates for their support in ensuring Starehe students graduate better equipped with the relevant knowledge to succeed.
