Starehe UK and the Kenya High Commission: Partnering for Education

This week on 3rd September 2026, Starehe UK charity engaged the Kenya High Commission in London to forge a partnership that would expand educational opportunities for economically disadvantaged young Kenyans. Our Chairman, David Kisiaky met with the Deputy High Commissioner, Amb. Irene Maswan and the Education Attaché, Willie Machocho Weru, to align on three shared priorities:

📚 Funding secondary education for those who need it most.
🌱 Supporting students beyond school into meaningful futures.
🤝 Rallying individuals and organisations to join our cause to: Support, Educate and Transform.

Educating a young person is one of the most lasting contributions we can make, not just to that individual, but to their community and to generations that follow.

We are proud to be part of a community that share this vision.
